The benefits of Membership include being able to contribute directly to the work of Finance Watch, for example by participating in working groups, or working with Finance Watch to conduct parallel campaigns on financial reform.

Members get to vote on Finance Watch’s priorities and other key decisions at General Assemblies and can stand for election to the nine-person Board of Directors.

Members must be independent from the financial industry and its lobby. All applications will be assessed by Finance Watch’s Committee of Transparency and Independence to ensure that:

candidate’s qualifications relate to Finance Watch’s objectives;
candidates are free from conflicts of interest;
candidates will not threaten the independence of Finance Watch in taking positions or producing expertise.
