Nadine Strauss holds a PhD from the Amsterdam School of Communication Research. She studied the mutual relationships between the news media and the stock market.
After a short break as a communication and strategy consultant in Frankfurt, she continued her career in research as a Postdoc at the Media and Innovation Lab at the University of Vienna, focusing on the effects of new media on political behavior.
Since September 2019, she is a Marie Curie research fellow at the University of Oxford, Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment. Her research explores the role of communication and the news media to make the public aware of sustainable finance and bring about financial behavioral change among citizens and financial actors.
