Organised at the EU Parliament, the conference had allowed participants to learn more about the EU initiative on Personal Insolvency on the one hand, and on the potential strategy to elaborate on the appropriate use by the Financial industry of the Big Data, for a so called “Financial inclusion”. The European Banking Authority presented its position and understanding of the issue. The next step are not so much defined so far. Then, Anne Fily (BEUC, EFIN) presented a specific project to guarantee, from a consumer perspective, the benefit of big data and new analytics and the benefit of keeping the control on his personal data in the creditworthiness issue.
