The consultation covers four consumer policy initiatives that the European Commission intends to adopt in 2020 and 2021. These initiatives are:
- a Commission Communication on a new European Consumer Agenda;
- a legislative proposal on empowering consumers in the green transition;
- a legislative proposal on a review of the Directive on consumer credit agreements for consumers (2008/48/EC);
- a legislative proposal on a review of the General Product Safety Directive (2001/95/EC).
